I believe that design and art profoundly influence our identities, whether we recognize it or not.
My goal is to create designs that inspires and portrays my community.
Editor
I tend to hop around with editing styles. I like to get to play around with a variety of effects. I often use a greenscreen, and overlays in my work and am heavily inspired by music. I love mixed media and love to find ways to bring my digital art to the real world or vise versa
Designer
In the summer of 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, where I gained valuable insights into professional design practices and explored my identity as a designer and brand.
Photographer
In my personal time I like to take my camera out on its daily walk. I take this time to practice my camera work.
In addition I use the footage to play around with my editing style and learn new tricks.
Motion Design
During design school I feel in love with motion design and have completed three advanced courses for motion design. I am proficient in industry-standard tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D. Additionally, my freelance work has provided me with proficiency in DaVinci Resolve. I continue to produce personal projects to try my hand at a variety of editing styles.
Photography
My exploration of motion design has sparked a deep fascination with photography. I have discovered that the ability to capture a story within a single frame has honed my attention to detail, which is crucial for producing high-quality film. This dual focus has significantly enhanced my visual storytelling capabilities.
Thesis
In the world of continuing education there is no right path for everyone. There are many paths to take, taking a gap year, going straight to college, trade school, changing majors, adding minors the list is endless. So why do we still have the expectation that you have to go to college right out of highschool spend 4 years studying and be done? There is so much more we learn from college aside from what we study in class. We go through a tremendous amount of self growth and have various experiences throughout those years that makes our higher education journey even more important.
